I felt GSC was good, but not great. Like Denning, I also think it felt small and the pacing rushed. The low overall NPC trainer levels don't help too. HGSS seems to try to fix that, though.

I've always felt that GSC was the best generation. Somebody put it, "The Pokemon looked like Pokemon, not obvious animals."

I think the could do alot more with the ames, but they just make some new pokemans, 8 gyms, and some bad guys and sell the game
