Hi, I had run into a problem that I googled and could not find a solution to no matter how hard I looked. I currently run Sappy 2005 (the one that works) and it gave me a problem that said something about vbalCbEx6.ocx being out of date. After 2 hours of struggling and ALMOST CRYING (no not really but it was frustrating) I almost gave up. I installed Sappy 1.2 (with SUPPORT) and to my surprise it opened. Then I tried opening Sappy 2005, and sure enough, it opened as well! So, the solution is to install Sappy 1.2 WITH SUPPORT and then try to run Sappy 2005. Make sure when you install Sappy 1.2 you have "Support" checked in the installer.
I figure someone out there will stumble upon this topic and will have their problem solved someday, and as long as I can cause one less person to have a frustrating experience then I've done my good deed for the day. Cheers. |
